Background
SMB Hub is a simplified layer on top of an enterprise cybersecurity platform. It lets non-technical small business users install protection and understand their security status, while the full enterprise features run behind the scenes. The project focused on removing friction in onboarding and making core actions and signals easy to grasp.
Objective
Simplify onboarding so it feels familiar, like antivirus setup
Auto-detect OS and recommend the right installer
Pre-fill required IDs and tokens to reduce copy-paste errors
Replace complex steps with automation where possible
Show clear protection status instead of raw technical metrics
Offer basic, safe controls without exposing full complexity
